The Russian authorities in the temporarily occupied Crimea are trying to save the Crimean bridge from future attacks by Ukraine by deploying a total of 8 barges, British intelligence reports in the report of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain, published on the social network H.
Satellite images show that in the period from May 10, 2024 to May 22, the Russian Federation began installation work on the installation of eight barges in the southern part of the Crimean bridge.
These barges have been deployed by Russian forces in an effort to protect the bridge and shipping channel, reducing approach angles for Ukrainian drones, the British ministry said in its report.
