This strike is the first of its kind in history. Kiev did not reveal how the enemy fighter was destroyed. According to the information, a base in the Astrakhan region, located 589 kilometers from the line of hostilities in Ukraine, was hit.
„You can talk for a long time about how the Su-57 does not correspond to the class of fifth-generation fighters, but in this case the technical side is not as important as the reputational side,” Kovalenko said. He stated that Ukraine can also destroy T-14 "Armata" tanks, which have never been in the combat zone, but which can start burning in Russia.
