US State Department says Washington and its allies are ready to continue increasing the pressure on Iran if Tehran does not cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN nuclear watchdog, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

Iran is rapidly installing additional uranium enrichment facilities at its underground Fordo site and has begun building others, according to a previously released IAEA report.

According to the US State Department, the report shows that Iran aims to continue expanding its nuclear program "in ways that have no credible peaceful purpose".

Meanwhile, the US State Department has opened a trial program that allows a limited number of US citizens to apply to update their travel documents with just a few clicks, BTA reported, citing the Associated Press.

This cannot be done at any time - every day at noon Eastern time (19:00 Bulgarian time) windows for this service will open, which will close after the system reaches its daily limit.

The US State Department said it is in no rush to track how the new system works.

There are also a number of requirements that must be met in order to apply for a US passport online. These include applicants being 25 or older, renewing a passport issued between 2009 and 2015, not changing any personal information and not traveling abroad for at least eight weeks after applying.

On the travel page of the State Department website, where each applicant must create an account to renew their passport online, there are many other criteria that must be met. Express services must still be done by post.
