At night, the Russian army attacked and seriously damaged a thermal power plant, the Ukrainian energy company DTEK announced , quoted by the Russian service of the BBC.
"Three of our colleagues were injured (...) the station's equipment was seriously damaged. Energy workers are currently working to eliminate the consequences of the attack," the press service of DTEK announced on Thursday morning, quoted from News.bg.

We remind you that in the last two months, Russia has intensified its attacks against the Ukrainian energy system. A large part of the production of heat and water energy is currently out of order. According to Shmyhal, Ukraine has lost about 9 GW of energy production capacity since March.
After the latest attack earlier this month, the sixth since March, the government imposed long blackouts across the country. Some consumers in Kyiv said they were without power for up to 12 hours a day.
