The Ukrainian army is under serious threat: the Russians are advancing near Toretsk, the fate of Donbas is being decided - 1

The situation in The Toretsky direction of the front is extremely difficult and the Russian army is advancing unusually quickly. In Chasovoy Yar, the fate of four cities is decided.

This is what the military expert and former commander of the “Aidar“ battalion warns. Yevgeny Dikiy, Radio NV reported. According to him, the Russian occupiers are advancing in the direction of Toretsk (located south of Chasov Yar) at 2 kilometers per day, which is an unusual situation. They usually advance tens of meters a day.

Something is clearly wrong, Dickey warned. According to him, it is possible that the ZSU made a mistake in the rotation of two brigades. The biggest threat in the Torets direction is for Chasov Yar.

Actually, the fate of an entire large agglomeration of four large cities - Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk - will be decided in Chasov Yar, the Ukrainian military said, which in practice also decides the fate of the Donetsk region in Donbass.

Donbas unites two regions – Donetsk and Luhansk, with the Russian army occupying a large part of them. Vladimir Putin even annexed these territories and declared them "eternal Russian". Although it launched an unsuccessful offensive in the Kharkiv region, the Russian army has achieved its greatest successes in recent months precisely in the southeastern part of Ukraine.

It is believed that the heaviest and most important battles on the front are currently being fought for Chasov Yar.

A representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told the AP on Thursday that Ukrainian forces have withdrawn from a neighborhood on the outskirts of Chasov Yar, a strategically important city in Ukraine's Donetsk region that has been reduced to rubble by the month-long Russian offensive. Military analysts say the fall of Chasov Yar could critically threaten Ukrainian supply routes and put nearby towns at risk, bringing Russia closer to its stated goal of capturing all of Donetsk Oblast.
