German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that, according to Berlin, 350,000 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded in Ukraine, reported DW.
This is significantly less than the data that Kiev disseminates. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claims that 570,000 Russian soldiers have been eliminated since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukrainian soil.
In order to seize a few extra square meters of Ukrainian territory, Vladimir Putin is not only killing many Ukrainian civilians, but also sending hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers to certain death, the German chancellor said.
"According to our data - although exact numbers are not known - 350,000 Russian soldiers were killed or seriously wounded. And every day that number grows by a thousand or more," he said.
The number of soldiers killed is kept a deep secret by both Russia and Ukraine. Officials and experts are united around one thing: the victims that the aggressor gives are 3 times more. But the human resources that Russia has at its disposal are much more than the Ukrainian ones.
