Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz threatened Turkish President Recep Erdogan that “it could end” such as Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, who was hanged in 2006.

Erdogan said Turkey could enter Israel, as it has done in the past in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, although he did not specify what kind of intervention he was proposing.
„We must be very strong so that Israel cannot do these ridiculous things with Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh, just like we entered Libya, we can do the same thing with them," Erdogan said at a meeting of the ruling party in his hometown. As is known, Turkey is the biggest supporter of the Palestinian cause.
Following Katz's threat, the Turkish Foreign Ministry in turn compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler. “Just as Hitler's genocide ended, so will Netanyahu's genocide. "History has ended the same way for all the perpetrators of genocide and their supporters," the Turkish diplomat pointed out.
Ankara strongly condemns the ongoing war crimes of the Israeli army against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip.
The Turkish presidency's chief adviser on foreign policy and security, Akif Çagatay Kulç, also said that “as long as our president stands by the oppressed people, these killers will continue to rage”. “They believe that with their shameless and arrogant statements they can silence our voice that defends justice and the oppressed. Netanyahu and the members of his cabinet, like all perpetrators of genocide, will end up on the dustbin of history,”, Erdogan's adviser added.
