Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that the country will give him a firm response to the strike on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights at the end of last week, in which 12 teenagers were killed, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"The State of Israel will not leave this without consequences. Our response will come and it will be firm,'' Netanyahu said in a statement released by his office after his visit to the Druze village of Majdal Shams, which was hit. Israel blames the attack on the Lebanese Shiite group "Hezbollah".
Netanyahu called a meeting of his cabinet late last night on the strike and asked for security assessments.
