Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today called the killing of the leader of “Hamas” Ismail Haniya as a “vile act” aimed at undermining the Palestinian cause, reported the Anadolu Agency, quoted by BTA.
I strongly condemn and curse the “treacherous murder of the head of the political bureau of “Hamas” Ismail Haniya in Tehran”, the Turkish head of state said.
The killing of Haniya is intended to break the will of the Palestinian people, but the “Zionist barbarism” will not achieve its goals, Erdogan pointed out.
Hania was killed in an airstrike on his residence in the Iranian capital.
