Ukraine has started using adjustable munitions about drones of the "Baba Yaga" type, reports the "Military" portal, referring to data from the "VD: Enemy Intelligence" Telegram channel.
The Russians disabled one such UAV and analyzed its characteristics. According to their data, the drone can use ammunition directed by a laser beam.
The ammunition has an external resemblance to a missile from the Ukrainian anti-tank missile system "Korsar". Having a semi-active homing laser head means that the target must be illuminated by the time it is engaged.
On the casing of the ammunition, the marking "BK-ZOF" is visible. and serial number, indicating potential mass production.
It is likely that this concept will increase not only the accuracy of hitting targets, but also the height of use of the "Baba Yaga" UAV. The latter is particularly important given the fact that recently many Ukrainian drone bombers have become "victim“ of small arms.
