The head of the office of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview published today that the second summit meeting to achieve peace in Ukraine, like the one in June in Switzerland, should not be seen as the beginning of negotiations with Russia, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

"The second summit meeting should not be seen as the beginning of negotiations with Russia," Andrii Yermak told the online publication "European Justice".

Yermak said that Kiev wants to prepare a concrete plan for achieving peace to be handed over to Russia.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said earlier today in his daily address to his compatriots that Russia must feel the consequences of the war, France Press reported.

„Russia brought the war to our country and should feel the effects of that,” Zelensky said. But as in his address yesterday, he did not specifically mention the invasion of the Ukrainian military in Russia's Kursk region. At the same time, the International Atomic Energy Agency stated that it is monitoring the developments around the Kursk nuclear power plant and monitoring the situation.
