Russian forces have been fighting Ukrainian troops for a fourth day after they crossed the Russian border on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Russia's Emergencies Ministry has declared a federal state of emergency in Kursk Oblast following this week's major Ukrainian incursion.
A video posted on social media and verified by Reuters shows a column of burnt-out Russian military trucks on a highway in Russia's Kursk region. It shows about 15 trucks, including one with the Z marking that Russia uses as a symbol of its "special military operation" in Ukraine.
Reuters was able to confirm the location as the village of Oktyabarskoe based on buildings, trees and road surfaces, but was unable to establish when exactly it was taken.
