The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that Ukrainian forces have taken full control over the Russian city of Suja in the Kursk region, where the Ukrainian army has been conducting a surprise offensive for more than a week, AFP reported, quoted by BTA.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army (Olexander) “Syrsky announced the completion of the liberation of the city of Suja from the hands of the Russian military,” Zelensky wrote in "Telegram". The town, which has a population of 5,500, is the main asset for Ukrainian forces in their push into Russia's Kursk region, AFP said.
