Ukrainian forces have destroyed a bridge across the Seym River in the Glushkovsky district of Russia's Kursk region, making it difficult for local residents to evacuate, TASS reported today, citing a local security official, BTA reports.
In the Glushkovsky district, where nearly 20,000 people live, a mass evacuation is underway after the surprise Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region, according to Reuters.
"We confirm the information that the enemy has struck the bridge across the Seym River. Part of the Glushkovsky district is now cut off for land evacuation," the quoted official said.
