The Israeli army said it killed a commander from the Lebanese Shiite group "Hezbollah" in an airstrike in southern Lebanon, near the coastal city of Tyre, DPA reported.
Earlier today, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that an Israeli attack in the area killed one person who was traveling on a motorcycle.
In the words of the Israeli army, it is about the commander of the forces "Radwan" – an elite part of the Iran-backed "Hezbollah" militia.
So far, the Lebanese Shia group has not commented on Israel's claims.
"Hezbollah" carried out a number of airstrikes against northern Israel from Lebanese territory since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army responded with multiple air and artillery strikes on southern Lebanon.
