The situation along the border between Ukraine and Belarus remains without visible changes, the spokesman of the Ukrainian State Border Service Andriy Demchenko told Ukrinform, BTA reports.
"The situation along the border with the Republic of Belarus has not undergone any changes. We are not observing a build-up of Belarusian military equipment or manpower," Demchenko said.
Earlier today, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with Russian media that he ordered the deployment of nearly a third of the army along the border with Ukraine because of the alleged presence of 120,000 Ukrainian troops on the other side.
