The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has revealed six agents of the Russian special services who collected information on the production of drones and for a base for the repair of military equipment in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrinform reported, BTA reported.
The perpetrators were preparing Russian airstrikes against Ukraine's military and critical infrastructure in the region.
According to the SBU, among the enemy's priority targets were enterprises producing drones for the Ukrainian forces. The Russians were interested in the location of Ukrainian armed forces repair bases and key highways used to transport Ukrainian weapons and ammunition to the front line.
SBU investigators served the perpetrators with notices of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed during martial law).
The suspects are being held in custody without the right to release on bail, but with the possibility of life imprisonment and confiscation of their property. The identity of the leader of the group of agents of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSS) has been established.
