The number of injured as a result of the emergency landing of an aircraft An- 2 in North Ossetia reached seven, including three children, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
„As a result of the emergency landing, seven people were injured, including three children,”, the department said in a statement on its Telegram channel. The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that the injured were handed over to doctors.
The press service specified that the An-2 aircraft was performing a training flight. There were 15 people on board. During the flight, eight people parachuted. Due to the difficult terrain, the employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations covered part of the route on foot.
Five ambulances were sent to the Prigorodni area to the scene of the plane accident. The doctors had to walk to the plane due to the difficult access area.
The plane is located between the villages of Mayramadag and Koban. The terrain in this area is mountainous and it took time to establish the exact location of the incident.
