Four people were injured during an educational event related to chemistry in Denmark, police said , quoted by DPA and BTA.
The explosion occurred during a performance in a library in Tonder, a small town near the southern border with Germany. A 22-year-old man who was helping with the performance was seriously injured and taken to hospital along with two children who suffered minor injuries. The third child suffered only minor bruises, the police report said. About 40 people attended the show, which was billed as a family event to showcase the possibilities of chemistry.
According to the Danish news agency "Ritzau" the contents of a glass container exploded, although details remain unclear. There was no leakage of hazardous chemicals at the scene.
