There is all sorts of speculation about what Republican Donald Trump's policies will be if he is re-elected president. On this occasion, France Press presents in an analytical material the main measures planned by the Republican if he stands again at the head of the USA.

The Republican presidential candidate promises to begin the largest operation to expel migrants on the first day of his possible new presidential term. "We will expel them as quickly as possible", he assures and accuses the migrants of "poisoning the blood of the country".

Trump, known for his plan for a wall along the border with Mexico, has also not ruled out the use of weapons and the opening of new detention camps for migrants before proceeding with deportations.

He also plans to cancel the automatic right of residence granted to children born to families of illegal migrants and says he will restore his tough immigration decree targeting Muslim countries.

While president, Trump slammed the door on the Paris climate accord. If re-elected, he vows to quickly end the "big green abuse," referring to the hundreds of billions of dollars the Biden administration has poured into climate change.

He promised his sympathizers that "oil will be extracted to the bottom". This will allow, according to Trump, to quickly reduce energy prices. "In many cases, we will cut energy prices in half,", he assures.

On the economy, the Republican presidential candidate is considering tariffs of more than 10 percent on all imported goods. With the proceeds, he intends to finance a large tax cut for all social strata, including the upper and business classes.

Trump has also pledged to make the US the bitcoin and cryptocurrency capital of the world and put billionaire Elon Musk in charge of a major audit of the US administration.

The former president, who waged a bitter trade war with China during his first term, also plans to revoke the favored nation status granted to the Asian country to boost bilateral trade.

The Republican does not miss the opportunity to recall that he is the architect of the annulment of the right to abortion at the federal level, announced in June 2022 by the Supreme Court. But he is much more ambiguous when he talks about the future of abortion in the country. He is not campaigning on the wildly unpopular promise to ban abortion nationwide through federal law, as the religious right wants. "One has to follow one's soul and conscience on this issue, but don't forget that elections have to be won,'' he says, promising, "My administration will be incredible on women and reproductive rights.''

Trump also keeps repeating that he will end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours if he is elected president, but he never explains how he will do it.

"I have a very precise plan to stop Ukraine and Russia. And I also have a certain idea about China," he said during an interview.

The former president, however, refused to go into detail about these hypothetical plans. If I tell you the details, I won't be able to implement the plans," he said, emphasizing that he wanted to keep the effect of surprise.

Trump also declared himself the absolute defender of Israel at the beginning of the war against "Hamas" in the Gaza Strip. But since then there has been a waning of that unqualified support, with Trump saying he is "not exactly sure he loves the way Israel is conducting its offensive in Gaza.
