The Russian forces attacked the regions of Odessa and Izmail with drones for the second night in a row, and the air defense of the Ukrainian Air Force operated for more than three hours, the head of the Odesa regional military administration Oleg Kiper in the "Telegram" application, BTA reported.
Debris from a drone fell in the suburbs of Odessa and three buildings on the territory of a private household were destroyed, a residential building and a garage were damaged, Kiper specified, adding that fortunately no people were killed or injured.
According to his information, the roof of a private house caught fire from debris that fell from a drone on the territory of the residential sector in Odesa region. The owners promptly extinguished the fire on an area of ten square meters.
Damage was caused to a warehouse and a car due to a fire, according to the information of the regional governor. Firefighters extinguished the fire in time. There is no information about casualties.
In the Izmail region, a hangar, windows and doors of a country house were damaged without a subsequent fire, Kiper added.
According to information from the Air Force of Ukraine, 72 drones were shot down during the night, 27 of which were in Odesa region.
Bulgarians in Odesa region number over 150,000 people and are third in number according to the official census in Ukraine in 2001. In the city of Odesa itself live 50-60 thousand Bulgarians. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
