The German publication writes that while heavy defensive battles continue in Eastern Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky once again calls on Western partners to fulfill their promises to his country. Now "the plan to win" of Ukraine should lead to a turning point.

In his speech at the Yalta Conference on European Security, Zelensky thanked the partners, but added that Ukraine needs new "packages".

"He (Zelensky - note ed.) was referring to the military aid packages from Western countries that were only partially delivered or were delivered many months late. Of the more than 60 F-16 fighters promised in Ukraine, only six have already arrived. "There is still no sign of the 400 units of heavy armored vehicles from Germany that were supposed to be delivered to Ukraine since the beginning of the year," the publication wrote.

Military expert Niko Lange of the Center for European Policy confirms that many of Ukraine's partners are announcing new supplies, but they are not reaching Ukraine.

"Many partners repeatedly announce deliveries and are happy about them, but these deliveries do not even reach here. Or they arrive slowly. And if the Patriot systems are mentioned over and over again, but they're not here, then people are dying," he said.

As BILD writes, more and more people are asking whether Ukraine can still win this war. The answer comes from government circles in Kiev, who assure that it can, but only if the West supports the Ukrainian strategy.

To this end, Zelensky will travel to the US in the coming weeks to present his strategy to US President Joe Biden, as well as presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

According to BILD "the plan to win" of Zelensky includes both a request for permission to use Western weapons to strike deep into Russia, and Ukraine's willingness to decide on a local ceasefire in certain parts of the front line - and thus a "temporary freeze on the situation" ;.

Military expert Carlo Massala from the Bundeswehr University in Munich told BILD about the Ukrainian president's plan for victory.

"Zelensky now wants to bet everything on one card and try to make a breakthrough on the battlefield," he thinks.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky said that there are "only two objective and fair ways to end the war in Ukraine". In the first case, the Ukrainians will have to "forcefully and completely expel the Russians from the country, and in the second - to win by diplomatic means, which provides for the liberation of all the territories of Ukraine". In both cases, it is the US that plays a key role in strengthening Ukraine on the way to victory.

At the same time, the president of Ukraine is preparing a trip to the USA as early as September, during which he will offer his option for achieving peace.

Zelensky intends to offer US President Joe Biden "systemic solutions, the implementation of which would strengthen the positions of Ukraine and make it possible to achieve peace". According to Zelensky, "these decisions are logical and interconnected". At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky does not reveal details about what exactly they will be.
