Kyiv: No peace plan envisages freezing the conflict or ceding our territories to Russia - 1

To date, there is not a single plan to end the war in Ukraine that includes a freeze on the conflict, a cease-fire, or the transfer of territories to the Russian Federation. There is only one official position - the war must end with the defeat of Russia. This was emphasized by the head of the presidential administration in Kyiv, Mykhailo Podolyak, reports the publication "Strana.ua".

Podoliak denies that "the plan to win” of Zelensky includes the freezing of military operations on the front line.

"No freezing of the conflict, because this will not bring an end to the war as such, but will only help Russia get an opportunity to accumulate additional resources and continue. Therefore, of course, there are no concepts of ceding territories. There are no concepts for freezing the conflict either, Volodymyr Zelensky's advisor summarized.

According to him, Kiev is ready to end the war only through the defeat of the Russian Federation. And among the points of Zelensky's plan is the Kursk operation.

"This, firstly, will significantly affect the public sentiments that exist in Russia, secondly, it will put significant pressure on Putin's entourage and lead to the end of this war,” Podoliak assures.

Last weekend, BILD published its version of the "plan for victory” of Zelensky, which the presidential office in Kyiv defined as "fake". In it – according to the German newspaper – strikes with long-range weapons on targets in Russia and the possibility of freezing hostilities in certain sections of the front are foreseen.

However, the presidential office in Kyiv did not deny plans to strike deep into Russian territory, the editors remind.
