The shot that killed Eisenur Ezgi Eigi, an activist with American and Turkish citizenship, in the West Bank was fired from a long distance, most -probably from a sniper. Such conclusions were reached by specialists from the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Izmir, whose report on the autopsy was received by the Turkish state television TRT-Haber, BTA reported.

Forensic experts have found “six foreign metal objects” in the activist's body. They have been handed over as physical evidence to the Turkish General Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating the incident.

The coroner's report stated that “death was caused by tissue damage to the head and brain due to a gunshot wound.
