Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ukraine Alle Dorhout said that the Kursk operation of the Ukrainian armed forces was carried out within the framework of international law and Ukraine's right to self-defense, the agency reported UNIAN.
The diplomat, who previously worked in his homeland's intelligence, commented on the so-called “red lines” of Vladimir Putin, which deter Western countries from allowing Kiev to attack Russian military bases with Western missiles.
„Russia has warned many times over the past two years about red lines. If you look at the military support that Ukraine has received since 2022 and the support that Ukraine is receiving now, then there are many questions about whether these red lines even exist, said the Dutch diplomat.
Dorhout added that the Netherlands has not imposed any restrictions on the use of weapons handed over to the Ukrainian armed forces.
