At this stage, there are no changes in the approaches of Turkey and the USA on the issues of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems and the F-35 fighters. This was announced today by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, quoted by the Turkish television station NTV, writes BTA.
In this regard, statements by third parties who try to form a certain picture of the situation should not be trusted. So far, there are no changes by Turkey or the US regarding the S-400 and F-35, the Defense Ministry said.
Sources from the ministry commented on the claims of a Greek newspaper that “S-400s will be placed under the control of the US at the Incirlik military base in exchange for Turkey's re-entry into the F-35 fighter program,”, NTV states.

Turkey was part of the F-35 program before its participation was suspended due to a dispute over Ankara's purchase of Russian S-400 air defense systems after its efforts to buy American Patriot missiles were rejected.
