Extremely dangerous hurricane "Helen" reached landfall today in the US state of Florida, the US National Hurricane Center reported, as quoted by AFP and BTA.
„Based on National Weather Service Doppler radar data, the eye of Hurricane Helen" "made landfall in the Big Bend region of northern Florida at around 11:10 p.m. local time (03:10 GMT)," the center said in a statement. The hurricane is a category 4 on the 5-point scale.
