World energy markets do not can without the participation of Russia, as the balance will be lost due to the large share of Russian oil in the market. This was stated by the adviser to the Russian president, Anton Kobyakov, quoted by TASS.
According to him, it is impossible without Russia to have a balance. How to balance 234 million tons of Russian oil, he asked. According to him, this is the amount exported by Russia in 2023. Kobyakov emphasized that Russia is the second largest exporter of oil after Saudi Arabia.
According to him, the current world cannot exist without Russian energy, since Western countries, half of Eastern Europe, officially buy Russian energy resources. Anton Kobyakov pointed out that other countries are also buying Russian energy resources, but unofficially. It is difficult and even impossible to break the markets in the modern world, the advisor believes.
He added that in the near future oil prices will be in the range of 50-80 dollars per barrel. A drop below $50 is unlikely. Any geopolitical problem is a premium to market prices and fluctuations in value can be very sharp, added Kobyakov.
