Russian hackers have attacked the websites of the Senate of the Federal Parliament of Belgium, as well as the electronic pages of the local authority in the southern Belgian region of Wallonia, the administration of the Wallonia-Brussels region and the municipality of Antwerp, local media reported, as quoted by BTA.
It is specified that the attack was the work of the Russian hacker group "NoName" and is related to the decision of the Belgian authorities to donate three "Cesar" cannons to Ukraine. French production, worth 12 million euros. The donation was announced last week, with the clarification that the guns fire 155mm projectiles and the Ukrainian side already has similar weaponry supplied by France. Additionally, it is noted that Belgium has ordered about 30 such guns for its own needs, the delivery of which is expected in a few years.
In the social network "X" Russian hackers say Belgium is "Russophobic" country and threaten the Belgian authorities with consequences because of the military support for Ukraine.
