Moscow has not received signals of readiness for a ceasefire from the Ukrainian side, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists , reported Reuters.
Peskov noted that many media reported such plans, but Russia had not received specific signals from Kiev.
The Kremlin spokesman also commented on the statement by the head of the British counter-intelligence MI5, Ken McCallum, that the Russian military intelligence (GRU) is trying to cause "chaos" in the UK and Europe. "All these claims are absolutely groundless and groundless," Peskov stressed.
He also rejected reports that North Korea is sending military personnel to Ukraine to fight on the Russian side. "This looks like another fake news," Peskov said.
Earlier this week, South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun said Pyongyang is likely to deploy troops to Ukraine to support its Russian ally.
