Iran threatened Israel: We have no red lines! - 1

Iran has “no red lines” when it comes to a matter of protecting the people and their interests, Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi wrote on the "X" social network, quoted by Reuters. The comment is in the context of an expected strike by Israel against Iran in response to the recent Iranian missile attack on Israeli territory, writes BTA.

Tehran also condemned the planned EU sanctions against Iran in response to the alleged supply of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia, DPA reported.

„I clearly say and repeat again: we have not provided ballistic missiles to Russia”, Aragchi wrote in “Ex“.

EU member states plan to impose the sanctions tomorrow. They will target companies and individuals involved in Iran's ballistic missile program as well as the supply of other weapons to Russia. The state airline “Iran Air“ will also be sanctioned.

Iran maintains that strategic cooperation with Moscow is unrelated to the war in Ukraine and maintains that any military aid to countries at war is inhumane.

The Iranian foreign minister also warned the US to keep its military forces out of Israel, the Associated Press reported. The comment comes after reports that Washington may send an anti-missile defense system designed to shoot down ballistic missiles to Israel to be manned by US soldiers.

Israel is stepping up its campaign against the Lebanese group “Hezbollah” with heavy airstrikes in Lebanon and a ground invasion of settlements along the border after a year of border shelling. Israel is currently at war with “Hamas” in Gaza and with its ally – “Hezbollah“ in Lebanon.

Israel's offensive in Gaza has led to the death of over 42,000 Palestinians, local health authorities claim. They did not say how many of the dead were combatants, but said more than half were women and children. The war has destroyed large swathes of Gaza and forced 90 percent of its 2.3 million people to flee their homes.

The Israeli offensive began in response to the attack by “Hamas” against South Israel a year ago. In it, fighters led by the group stormed the border with Israel and raided army bases and settlements, killing about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping another 250. They are still holding around 100 hostages in Gaza, with a third believed to be dead.
