Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that North Korea is sending soldiers to the Russian army, to to help in its invasion of Ukraine, reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
"We see the alliance between Russia and regimes like the one in North Korea growing. It is no longer just a matter of arms deliveries, but of sending people from North Korea to the armed forces of the occupier," Zelensky said in his daily briefing, AFP notes.
A report by the US-based Institute for the Study of War indicated that officials from South Korea and Ukraine continue to identify North Korean soldiers already fighting in Ukraine and training in Russia with a view to future deployment alongside Russian troops. Ukrinform reported yesterday.
