The Russian Navy has lost the ability to influence the course of hostilities in Ukraine. The spokesman of the Naval Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk expressed confidence in this, reports the edition "Ukrainska Pravda".
"Intelligence colleagues can answer this question more professionally... I can note that whatever the degree of readiness and the number of units, the Russian fleet cannot actually influence the course of hostilities in our theater. Even given the fact that some units (of the Russian troops) may be transferred through internal waters, they will not do this, because they cannot cope even with those units that they have left in the Black Sea, in the Black Sea Fleet, which is practically paralyzed in the Azov-Black Sea region. As for other waters, such as the Mediterranean Sea, they also cannot get from there to here”, Pletenchuk explained on the air of the telethon.
