Israel carried out two airstrikes early this morning in the Shiite district "Harret Hrake" in southern Beirut, minutes after the Israeli army issued an evacuation order for the area, footage broadcast live by an AFP journalist shows.
In the order to the civilian population, the Israeli army warns that citizens are in the vicinity of facilities and positions associated with the group "Hezbollah", against which actions are to be taken.
The official Lebanese news agency NNA reported that it was an airstrike.
According to the footage captured by the AFPTV journalist, a second strike was also carried out in the area.
The Israeli military regularly strikes Lebanon as part of an offensive aimed at neutralizing the pro-Iranian Hezbollah movement, which in turn is bombing Israeli territory.
