A twenty-six-year-old Ukrainian man was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison in Poland for inciting espionage in favor of Ukraine, France Press reported, referring to a statement by the spokesman of the Polish special services, quoted by BTA.

Oleksandr D., who was detained on March 9, incited a Polish citizen to act for the benefit of the intelligence services of a third country, and to the detriment of Poland's interests, the Polish authorities said in a statement, without specifying who is the third party.

The convict wanted photos of military vehicles intended for aid to Ukraine, which were crossing the border between Poland and Ukraine.

In exchange for the information provided, Alexander D. offered a payment of 15 thousand euros. It is not specified whether the Polish citizen to whom the offer was addressed agreed to cooperate.

AFP also reports that a trial has begun in Krakow against two Russians accused of spreading propaganda to recruit people for the "Wagner" paramilitary organization. According to the information provided by the court, the two men, identified as Alexey T. and Andrey G., risk sentences of up to ten years in prison. They were arrested in August last year.
