The President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived on an official visit to Moscow . The leader of the UAE moved through the streets of the Russian capital in a black Aurus, accompanied by a motorized convoy, RIA Novosti reported.
During the official talks scheduled for Monday, the leaders will discuss the state and prospects for the development of multilateral cooperation between Russia and the UAE. The parties will discuss current issues of the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
The President of the UAE will also participate in the events of the BRICS meeting, which will be held in Kazan from October 22 to 24.
Al Nahyan was last in Russia in June last year. Then he and Putin met on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held an informal dinner with the guest.
The Russian leader met his colleague at the Novo-Ogarevo residence near Moscow.
Putin introduced his guest to the "Ukrainian crisis". The Russian president reported a threefold increase in his country's trade turnover with the UAE, TASS reported.
