Kyiv: Large-scale wars await us in Europe within 5 years - 1

After 5 years there could be large-scale wars in various regions, including Europe. This statement was made on Thursday by the adviser to the head of the presidential office, Mykhailo Podoliak, in an interview with Channel 24, quoted by UNIAN.

"If the democratic alliance still does not find this political will collectively, finally does not take those decisions that are absolutely clearly stated by the President of Ukraine, that are absolutely clearly stated in the Victory Plan, then the autocratic alliances will only increase the influence is on the global political process," he said.

According to Podoliak, in this case there will be a reformatted political process, in which war will become the main tool of foreign policy.

"Well, if anyone today wants to pretend that they are not afraid of it, that means the war will not be finished. I believe that in five years there will be large-scale wars in various regions, including Central and Southern Europe, no doubt," he added.

Podolyak noted that Ukraine should calmly react to summits like BRICS, as they do not influence the global political process.

"The countries want to find something, some formula. I mean countries like Saudi Arabia, Brazil, but so far they don't understand what it should look like either. There are different tasks here. If Brazil wants to dominate certain segments, have access to certain markets, etc. China, India, Saudi Arabia want the same thing, to get some opportunities, to bypass this competition somewhere, but for their own benefit, he said.< /p>

At the same time, Podoliak noted that Moscow sees BRICS exclusively as an instrument of geopolitical pressure and a justification for war. In addition, the Kremlin believes that it is a "tool that can give Russia hope that it can still exist in this form for several more decades".
