The Israeli Air Force has killed a commander of the Lebanese group "Hezbollah" during a targeted operation, the military announced, DPA reported.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) statement, the attack took place in Barakhit in southern Lebanon.
It says the man was "responsible for planning and executing rocket and anti-tank attacks against IDF troops".
Meanwhile in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force killed a member of the military intelligence unit of the Palestinian terrorist organization "Islamic Jihad", the military said.
According to the IDF, the man participated in the attack on October 7, 2003 in the Israeli border area and was among the perpetrators of the attacks against the Israeli city of Kfar Azza.
"Another terrorist was killed along with him,", the message says.

According to the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health, the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip has so far killed more than 43,300 people and injured more than 102,000.
