Eleven people were injured today on a "Lufthansa" (Lufthansa) from Buenos Aires to Frankfurt. The reason is strong turbulence over the Atlantic Ocean, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the airline.
"Unfortunately, five passengers and six crew members suffered mostly minor injuries,”, a spokesman for "Lufthansa" said.
"The safety of the flight was not compromised at any time," he added.
According to the airline, the injured received medical attention immediately after the plane landed safely at its final destination.
There were 329 passengers and 19 crew members on board. The turbulence was short, the airline also announced.
