North Korean soldiers are participating in combat operations against Ukraine together with Russian forces, South Korean intelligence said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.
Seoul's statement comes amid growing criticism around the world after Moscow and Pyongyang strengthened their defense ties, with Pyongyang sending thousands of troops to Russia's Kursk region to help Moscow in its war with Ukraine.

„The National Intelligence Service believes that North Korean soldiers sent to Russia have been redeployed to the Kursk region in the past two weeks,”, South Korean intelligence said.
They have completed their deployment to the battlefield and are ready for combat operations, the statement added.
North Korean state media reported yesterday that the country has ratified the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Russia signed in June, which provides for mutual assistance in the event of an armed attack, according to Reuters.
