The Ukrainian monitoring project DeepState, which has been mapping the war since its beginning, said late yesterday in the evening, that two small columns of the Russian army entered "parade mode" in Kupyansk.
According to DeepState's information, the Russians entered from the north and northeast of Kupyansk. In one column there is a tank and three armored vehicles. The composition of the second column is not specified.
DeepState spoke about the fate of only one convoy: according to its data, one armored vehicle (MT-LB) was hit in the forest, another similar one and a tank entered the city about 300 meters away, next to the highway to Svatovo. They were hit there and returned to the outskirts of Nekrasova St.
Paratroopers took refuge in the surrounding houses from the damaged armored vehicle.
DeepState claims that some of these soldiers were killed. An attempt to send them reinforcements was also repulsed.
In recent months, the line of contact has become a mystery to all parts. The combat formations of the armed forces of Ukraine and the enemy were simply scattered throughout the forest, rotation was carried out on both sides, and the war in the forest looked "strange", writes DeepState.
