Ukrainian intelligence: In 2022 we could have won the war, but the West stopped us - 1

The war in Ukraine could have ended as early as 2022 . after the counter-offensive in Kharkiv, but the Western partners did not allow this to happen. This was stated by Denis Yaroslavsky, commander of the intelligence division of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the air of "Kiev24".

"This counteroffensive could have ended the war, but our partners did not allow us to do so because of their convictions. After that, we did not enter the Belgorod region and did not end the war. "I'm sure we could have ended the war in 2022, but it's still going on," he said.

Yaroslavsky believes that Ukrainian defense forces have developed very quickly in the first year of full-scale war with Russia. He emphasized that the Ukrainian military is capable of making unconventional decisions that prove to be effective on the battlefield.

Deputy commander of the 3rd Independent Assault Brigade Maxim Zhorin said that during the 1000 days of the full-scale war there were both many successes and difficult events.

At the same time, he emphasized that we have been at war with Russia for hundreds of years.

"We showed our strongest sides - the ability to gather, unite and resist in character. We also showed our weaknesses - dependence on others, reluctance to follow our goals, inability to systematically approach problems," he wrote.

According to his belief, how many days this war will last in general and how exactly it will end for us - depends only on us.

"The sooner this awareness comes at the level of the whole society, the more chances we have to end it in our favor. For a long time we will face hard times, hard battles and pressure from different sides. We have no other way out and no other plan than to be strong." Maxim Zhorin called for this.
