The military analyst of the German newspaper BILD Julian Röpke believes that the new Russian ballistic missile that hit the city of Dnipro was a test version of the "RS-26" missile that did not contain explosives.
"Numerous CCTV cameras captured the so-called submunitions, i.e. "RS-26" as they re-enter the lower atmosphere. In this footage, six rockets can be seen falling from the sky through the clouds”, the analyst points out.
"The special thing is that it is a substitute with the same mass and dimensions, which was supposed to simulate a nuclear charge. This proves that it is a propaganda and political action, not a military one. There was no nuclear charge or explosives inside. That's why the damage is so minor. "We don't see explosions, but only kinetic energy from the fall from a height of several hundred kilometers," adds the expert.
