He is disputing secret service documents about his campaign for the first round of the presidential election, which were declassified by President Klaus Iohannis on December 4 and showed foreign interference in his campaign.
According to this information, on December 6, the Constitutional Court of Romania unanimously decided to annul the first round of the presidential elections.
A day earlier, on December 5, the General Prosecutor's Office opened a case for possible violations of the legislation in the election campaign of Calin Georgescu. The prosecutors have requested additional information from the intelligence services and will also request such information from the National Service for the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering, Digi24 reports.
