Over the past week, Russian servicemen have repelled 80 attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) to enter the territory of the so-called Lugansk People's Republic /LPR/. Ukrainians tried 71 times to counterattack near Kupyansk in the neighboring Kharkiv region and Kremennaya in the LPR.

This was reported by Russian military expert Andrei Marochko.

"Statistical analysis of the data shows a continued increase in the activity of the Ukrainian armed forces on the western borders of the LPR“, he said.

Marochko reported that in the attempts to counterattack, Kiev lost over 7,400 soldiers - Ukrainians and foreign mercenaries. In a week, Russian troops have destroyed 12 tanks, 70 field artillery pieces and almost 120 different combat vehicles of the Ukrainian army.

Russian troops have repelled several attempts by the Ukrainian armed forces to counterattack in the village of Novy Komar, north of Velika Novoselka in the DPR, with significant losses for the enemy, reported Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support for Veterans of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

"In Novy Komar, half of the village is under the control of Russian troops. There were several attempts by the Ukrainian armed forces to counterattack from Novoocherovatoye, all of which were repelled with significant losses for the enemy," he said.

Rogov noted that the situation in this section of "has improved" after the destruction by Russian aviation of the crossing over the Mokriye Yali River, through which the Ukrainian armed forces transported reinforcements for the assault on Novy Komar and attempted strikes on Razdolnoye.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are mining residential buildings and leaving booby traps as they retreat from settlements liberated by Russian troops in the Kursk region, reported a rifleman from the assault group of the Crimean paratroopers nicknamed Opasny.

„The enemy does not leave a single building intact or anything at all intact. When retreating, they mine everything with cluster munitions and "Baba Yaga" drones, to which they attach mines, the fighter said in a video provided by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During the battles for Novoivanovka in the Sudzhansky district of the region, the Ukrainian armed forces put up fierce resistance, and foreign mercenaries fought in their ranks. "The battles were very difficult. The enemy did not want to surrender, but we suppressed them. They had a very large flow of mercenaries. We heard many different languages," Opasny noted.
