Over 2.5 million questions and inquiries from Russian citizens were received during the hotline "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin," TASS reports.
The annual session, broadcast on Russian television and lasting four and a half hours, gave President Vladimir Putin the opportunity to answer a variety of questions. The topics covered a wide range of issues raised by both journalists and ordinary citizens.
Although impressive, this number does not exceed last year's record of over 2.8 million, BTA reports.
The call center for the program operated around the clock from December 8 until the end of the event, with questions being accepted until the end of the hotline. Calls were the most popular method of contact, although their number decreased compared to last year.
Popular channels for asking questions
- Call center: Over 1.2 million calls were registered this year, compared to 1.7 million in 2023.
- Social networks: A strong increase was noted in the use of social platforms as a contact channel, with approximately 250 thousand inquiries - a record achievement compared to the previous year.
Purpose of the initiative
The "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" program continues to be an important feedback channel between citizens and the country's leadership, offering a platform for sharing problems, ideas and questions to the president.
