At least 13 people have died after a minibus collided with a truck in western Bolivia, the country's President Luis Arce said.
"We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred on the La Paz-Oruro highway, which left 13 victims. We have ordered an investigation to clarify the circumstances of this tragic incident that is causing grief to the people of Bolivia," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Two children died as a result of the collision. Three people survived the accident and were taken to a hospital in El Alto. According to preliminary data, the collision was head-on, the causes have not yet been established.
