A Bulgarian has been arrested in the Greek capital Athens on suspicion of holding a blind woman against her will and using force in an abandoned hotel, reported „Proto tema“.
The police were notified of the incident early Thursday morning. Police officers arrived at an abandoned hotel in front of which they found a 36-year-old woman, who they determined was visually impaired.
She reported that a man had been holding her there illegally since Christmas Eve.
Police officers arrested a 39-year-old man of Bulgarian origin in connection with the case, who was taken to the first-instance prosecutor's office in Piraeus.
