At least ten people were killed and 30 were injured after a vehicle plowed into a crowd of people in the American city of New Orleans today, city authorities said, quoted by Reuters, writes BTA.
Authorities said that there is no other information on the case at this time.
Earlier, CBS News reported that a heavy truck plowed into a crowd of people at high speed, after which the driver got out of it and started shooting with a firearm. Officers returned fire.
"Initial reports indicate a vehicle drove into a group of people," New Orleans police told CBS News.
Reuters notes that police have not yet responded to a request for comment.
