Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his Indian counterpart Vikram Misri on Monday the importance of the two countries working in the same direction, taking more substantial steps and committing to mutual understanding, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Wang Yi stressed that China and India should be committed to "mutual support and joint achievements", instead of demonstrating "doubts" and "alienation". He made the statements during a meeting between the top diplomats of Beijing and Delhi, held in the Chinese capital.
The Chinese foreign minister's words were quoted in a communiqué issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
